Last week, we updated allmyapps with some cool awaited features! In the past month, one of the most requested features was the ability to see screenshots from the applications. Screenshot support has now been added and, better, you will very soon be able to contribute your screenshots for each app!

We also added support for application reviews. From now on you can review and rate the applications you like / dislike. Your opinion will help other users evaluate the applications before actually installing them. To make the process easy, we do not require you to signup or anything like this before posting a review… just write it, post it and it appears immediatly!

Finally, it is now possible to browse applications for the different operating systems supported by allmyapps. Just click on allmyapps in the breadcrumb and you get to choose between the various operating systems supported. You will probably also notice that the URLs are cleaner now. For example, the digikam application page is now accessible through a neat url like : http://www.allmyapps.com/app/digikam

Now what can you expect from allmyapps in the coming weeks? Many things: extended repositories support, the ability to contribute screenshots and support for “application packs”… But while we’re cooking all these new features, we really hope you will enjoy the version we just released!
